Remembrance Day

As is our tradition, we made our yearly trek to the cenotaph for the Remembrance Day services. This year, we changed it up and attended the White Rock services. It was nice being able to have us all walk just 5 minutes away. A little smaller but still a great turn-out. Was extra nice because when we went to the big services in Cloverdale, the main highway behind us always remained open so it created a ton of noise and it was a bit hard to hear all that was going on.

Super proud of the fact that Gus and Jasper have attended every year.

Nice to stand here and see the parade come in with all the proud vets and see our beautiful ocean too...Makes you realize how lucky we are to live in Canada.

Very emotional day. As always , we end the outing with a nice lunch out. This year we were at Delrios in South Surrey. Our thanks to Mel and Rick for treating us for lunch, along with all the rest. Very kind of you.
