Yes, it is!!

It really seemed a long time coming, but at least we made it out of another winter. YES!! It is indeed spring!!

So what's happening you ask? Well, even if you didn't, I'll tell you. Not a whole heck of a lot. We did bring our trailer, Rusty, home to sit on the driveway. We were happy to get the cover off and have it here. It's always a good feeling when everything is "high and dry" inside. It seems after storage there are always a few jobs to look after. Cleaning, restocking etc. A few improvements. We will be replacing our awning as the original one is in pretty bad shape. Can hardly wait for that job but it will look so good!

Just a few pictures to entertain everyone. Yes, there really is a "white rock" in White Rock. Get's repainted every so often due to people messing with it. Does make a person realize that it must have been some huge glacier roaming around these parts so long ago!

Our official camping starts in 37 days when we head up to the Kootenays to visit with Teagan and Rudy. We can hardly wait!! These winters with mountain passes in between us and them are so hard sometimes.

Well, daylight savings time arrived this past weekend. I'm not sure how many people even like it. Maybe it should just be kept one way or another. Just DON'T CHANGE IT!!!

FEBRUARY 17th - JASPER's Birthday: Not sure where the time went but this young man is now 10 years old. Still, he's my extraordinary seaglass hunter. and yes, he still holds the all time record for finding the biggest piece of seaglass at Crescent Beach (one of our local beaches). It was half the size of the palm of his hand. Incredible, considering how well scavenged our local beaches are.

He is kind, big-hearted, adventurous and turning into a very capable skateboarder. A complete character. Loves camping and, of course, hanging out with his big and little brothers, August and Holden. His zest for life is ever-present. I truly hope it stays that way! We love him SO much.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASPER!!

I think we are all just waiting on spring. Some camping is booked and we are very excited to bring home our little trailer, Rusty, to sit on our driveway. He's called that not because he has any rust (gasp...) but Doug named him because of the rust-coloured stripes on him. We have a few jobs lined up. Most important is replacing his awning. The new fabric arrived yesterday (Josh, how busy are you???)

Out and about White Rock: Tried to capture the many murals and interesting things around town. Some very talented local artists. It really does amaze me that when a person takes the time to look around what wonderful things are right under our noses.
