Let's begin somewhere back near Jasper's birthday in February which is when I last posted.
As you all know, we are not travelling this year and we have decided to work ONE MORE YEAR. Can you hear my groaning from where ever you are???? Yes, this means we will work until the end of 2020. And that's it.......
So, we have made some changes. As you all know when you met us we had Euri, our trusty and loved 1993 VW Westfalia Eurovan. Euri drove us safely to and from Mexico 3 times. Brought us all around the perimeter of the great USA, through to Newfoundland and all the wonderful Atlantic provinces and then all the way back to our beloved West Coast. We loved him but upon our return to work in 2016 we decided that in order to return on more extensive trips to our favourite places we would have to sell him. It was a very hard decision and many tears were shed (by me.....).
Fun times in Las Jaibas in Mazatlan 2016
Then we decided to try a little trailer for our "Canada Camping time" . We knew we wouldn't go too far but we fixed up this little 1990 17 foot Bigfoot and towed it with our 2014 Ford Flex.

So that brings us to the present........
We are now planning on full timing life at the end of 2020. How this will really play out we aren't sure but we have faith that everything will work out. So, without further ado, let me introduce........
2004 Trail Lite
He is 29.5 feet, bumper to bumper but the body is 28 feet. Resplendent with a Chev 8.1 litre engine with 45,000 miles on him. There are two small slides. One for the bed and one for the sofa. Best of all, the oven is big enough for my turkey at Thanksgiving! We are pretty excited (well, we would be even more excited if we were leaving at the end of THIS year but that's okay).
Alrighty then, now you all know what we know. We are hoping anyone out there still reads this blog and that, more importantly, you are all doing well.
I am "this close" to figuring out how to transfer my pictures from my Google Pixel 2 phone to my computer so I can resize them and get them on the blog. All the little boys are doing fantastic and I will get some picture of them up soon.
Thought for the Day: In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
