My elementary school teacher said I always had a lot to say. Guess that was correct.
We had a fun gathering at Fraser Valley Cidery on Sat June 17th to have a small, early celebration of my 65th birthday (yikes!!). Such a great local place...
Great store with locally sourced fruits.
Some great combinations too.
You can get a "flight" in many different flavours
of your choice. Great way to sample.
I really love places like this that allow kids to come and hang out as well. Makes a special gathering all the more friendly. There are mostly outside tables, some are on the grass, some undercover. Check out their website for more info:https://www.fraservalleycider.ca/
They even have flights of Italian
sodas for those who are young!
Some people arrived in a limo and the driver was
kind enough to let the boys sit inside. He turned on the lights
for the full impact. They thought it was pretty cool!
Father's Day followed the next day (what a weekend!). Both of our dads have been gone for 29 years. Lots has happened since their absence and there are times it seems impossible that they have been gone that long. We miss them both...
My Dad, Leslie
Doug's Dad, Arnold
Our celebration here in White Rock...
Dad's Day Ceasar's!
Cheers to an amazing Dad, Grandpa!
I'll leave you with this.
Somethings can always find a way....
Thought for the Day: Dads are most ordinary men, turned by love into heroes, adventurers, story-tellers and singers of songs.
