Gus turns 8 years old today. We really can remember, like it was yesterday, when we got that glorious phone call that he had arrived, safe and sound.
He continues to amaze us. He is probably the best big brother there ever was. His zest for life is contagious. He embodies love for family (especially little bro and best friend, Jasper). They are fast friends. Last year I spoke about how he is becoming a dinosaur expert. He still continues with this interest. I am not sure how it is that a little dude can pronounce the names of these dinos, let alone know all the small and big nuances of each one.
He has developed a love for trail riding on bikes. It's something he is becoming really good at!
Anyway, we love him so dearly and totally and are so proud of the person he is becoming. His kind sweet heart, the kid that will share anything with you, will run to help you and yes, will still hold my hand.......
Thought for the day: "How do you spell L-O-V-E Piglet asked Pooh. You don't spell it Piglet, you F-E-E-L it.......
