Happy New Year!!

Wow! It's hard to believe that 2012 is here!! We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Years with famly & friends, or just themselves. Here's to a GREAT 2012 for all of you!!

The first shots below are some of Doug's co-workers in Dec. 2011 at his "official" send-off. Thanks everyone!!

We busied ourselves with Doug's retirement, getting settled and into "retirement" mode. It hasn't been too hard, that's for sure!!  We have managed to put away all the decorations and are beginning to take stock of our travelling requirements. We have not really had time (.....I know, what the heck are we doing??!) to explore Nanaimo. We will likely have to leave the "big" exploring time until after we have returned in May. Here are a few Christmas Day photos for you all!

Next, Boxing Day. Josh & Kathy came over to visit. Some Christmas toasts and a trip up to Coombs Market! Time goes by so fast whenyou are visiting!
