Road Home

No matter how we try, the road coming back home is just never quite as much fun as the road going out on the trip. Oh, it's not that we don't love coming home, it must be that it's just always hard to leave where you are having fun at!! But home we must go......

Lovely downtown Nelson....

Our beautiful little boy - see you next time!!

This drives just passes by without effort. Before we knew it we were in Greenwood, which is half way between Christina Lake and Osoyoos. Lovely little main street. Every time we have gone through here (and there have been many times) we go by the Copper Eagle Bakery and Café and say ..."we should stop there sometime". Well, this time we did. It was so nice. Nothing like a bowl of homemade soup and breads to make your cruising break worthwhile.

Believe it or not, someone put this sewing machine on this mini tractor
and it actually works. The tension wheel on the sewing machine
even works as a steering wheel. Super cool....

What a beautiful patio out back. Peaceful.....

A quick little walk up the street.....

This little store didn't even look like it ever opened but it housed the most amazing collection of "old stuff". Gadzooks, there were a ton of toasters......all shapes and sizes.

See the toaster "wall of fame". But check out the TV!!!

Just an incredible collection of things. We'll have to watch
and see if it is ever open.....

Anyway, back on the road home.....I have always wanted to stop
and take some "proper" pictures of these barns. Maybe next trip!

I absolutely love this area.....

And just like we were back home again and off to work. And already I miss our little boy......

Thanks for checking in!!

Peace....

  2. Those little ones are so hard to leave. They just grow too fast.
