Lest we Forget.....

Yes, we do........

This year, we continued our streak of good weather for the Remembrance Day ceremonies. It is nice to see. Not so much for ourselves, but for the veterans who are getting on in years and it would be difficult for them to spend so much time outside in the inclement weather so thanks, Mother Nature, for the high five on the weather.

As always, we gathered at the Cloverdale (Surrey) Cenotaph for the ceremonies. It is always so great to see so many people turn out. Over the years we have been coming, it has definitely grown in size. Although the little boys are too young to really understand, Gus knew he was leaving his poppy afterwards to say thanks to the soldiers. Jasper, at 9 months old, we will cut him a break this year!

The view from the lens of a 2.5 year old......

I know you have all missed the foot shots, admit it!!

It is always a great time spent together on this day. To give our thanks and show our respect to our veterans, young and old. We are fortunate to have the ability to live our lives as we do.

We have our freedom but as most people know, freedom is never free.....

Peace....
