Holiday time....Sept 4 to 7

Well, we have already crammed a little exploring time into the first half of September. Let's begin at the beginning, shall we? I will separate these posts so it makes some kind of sense to y'all!!

Sept 4th to 7th: We headed out, once again, to Golden Ears Provincial Park with Josh, Kathy & our little boys. Love, love camping with family!

Hard to believe that this park is so close to town!

Getting a little help on the set-up!
Everything at camp checks out, time for a ride!!
This is such a great BC Provincial Park but nowadays, even camping is not cheap. $35 per night for no services. There are several washroom buildings with flush toilets and hot (free) showers plus very clean outhouse toilets. With the campfire ban just being lifted, we opted to use Josh & Kathy's Outland Fire Bowl. Propane fuelled but lovely and clean burning. Made our "campfire" experience so great.....
Love, love, love these two little boys.....

Great walking trails down to the beach area.

Boots are over-rated......

Not a bad shot for a 2-1/2 year old, huh?
Doug's brother Don & wife Diana, came for the day too.
Same good photographer!
Kathy and Jasper

Josh & Gus......

There's only one way to get water out of a little boy's boot!!!
Upside down!!!
Time to warm up around the campfire!!
All the boys, big and small, like campfires!
Sunday camping with the Beglaw's always brings pancake breakfast!! I especially love it as I pretty much do nothing and just get the clean-up detail. Okay by me!!
Grandpa's helper!!

This is our "all boy" cooking team!!
Hey, there is even a bear in the crowd!!

...then it's time to walk back down to the beach!!

Like father, like son. Josh was always the first in the water and
the last out. Gus is just the same!! (Oh, and this water is pretty chilly!)
Mr. Happy - Jasper!!!
He "almost" fits in that front seat of Euri!!

...and a little brotherly l-o-v-e!!
Almost forgot to show you the snazzy camp set-up!

When you camp in a tent in BC, you ALWAYS put up a canopy over your tent.
Luckily, we both have the EZE-UP shelters too....

Okay, so they don't look totally convinced about sleeping
in Euri's "upstairs" quite yet, but soon!!
So, that was the start to our September holiday. Couldn't have been better!! Even the weather was pretty good (except that nasty little downpour on Friday night while we ate dinner!!)
Peace....(stay tuned for more!!)
