Moncton NB to Kingston NS (337 Kms=209 Miles)

Wow, was it cold again last night. It got down to 6C (42F). That is pretty cold when you shower in a cinder block building with NO heat!! YIKES!! Good thing our coffee was hot!

We had a nice drive today, although it started out with lots of rain just south of Moncton. Doug was on driving duty so he just plowed through the rain and big winds with no problem!!

Gotta give Nova Scotia props for their welcome sign!
It is probably the best we have seen!!

One quick stop into the Visitor Info Centre and we were on our way!!

Nice provincial flag too!!

Of course, this required an obligatory stop at Tim Hortons to check the maps!!

Hwy 236 west bound into Windsor.....

So much of the countryside reminded us, once again, of BC!

As we wound our way down Paula & Jerry's street, this is what greeted us on
their driveway!!! We couldn't believe it - talk about a welcome!!

So nice - even a BC flag!!!

Paula takes our picture while we take her picture!!

Wow, we haven't been welcomed by so much hospitality ever!! We were overwhelmed by it all. It made us feel so good and SO happy to be here!!

Beautiful room to cozy up in for five nights now!!

Oh, and look what was waiting for us on the night table!!
A framed picture of Gus, and one of our favourites too!!
....yes, I cried....

Now, we can get down to the business of visiting!!

...and the business of eating too...awesome dinner too!!
Thanks P&J!!!

Euri will have a well deserved rest for 5 nights....

And, they even set up a cozy corner outside our bedroom for blogging!!
I told you, this is like a fine hotel but better, it's run by friends!!

So, we have lots on the go for the next five days. You will have to stay in close contact to see all that is on the agenda. No telling for now!!

We can't even describe how nice it was to come to a home and to friends that were so welcoming and as happy to see us as we were to see them!! We are overwhelmed with their kindness.....this is the first of many thanks, Paula & Jerry!!!

Peace....

Thought for the Day: Laughter is the fireworks of the soul. (I suspect you may see some fireworks from here in the next few days too!!)
