I really do not have too much to tell anyone. Enjoyed our day yesterday. Caught up with some of the family on Skype and we will catch up with the others in the next day or so.
I have been trying to get a photo of a Red Cardinal for a long time now. We don't get them in BC so they are of a particular fascination for me. I also love the colour red, so that may be part of it!! Anyway, Doug managed to get a really good shot of one on Sunday morning!
Doug is just waiting for Nat'l Geographic to call him for the next assignment!!
After that it was a nice camping style breakfast,
complete with pancakes in the sunshine.....
Sunday morning pancake breakfast....
This morning (....Monday) we moved to our final spot. It's pretty nice. Lots of bright light, so we are happy. We will be able to stay right here until Friday morning. That is when we leave. Today is a bit cloudy and we have had a few sprinkles of rain, but not much to worry about. Tea is hot at Bad Ass Coffee Shoppe and we will be off shortly for a nice bike ride.
This is what greeted Doug when he opened up the electrical post this
morning!! Seven little bright green tree frogs (just like the one on my arm!!)
We also have a belated special birthday wish for Mr. Bill in Nanoose Bay, BC. We hope you had an awesome day, Mr. Bill!!
Happy Belated wishes from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida!!
Tomorrow is hair cut day for me - never know what it will look like!!!
Thought for the Day: Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can only be forgiven, not forgotten....
