Nanaimo Time

Out for breakfast and a walk today Nice waterfront to stroll around.....

Entertainment across the street from Tina's Diner. Each busker has to pay $25
per year to the city. They are then free to play, for no more than 2 hours, at a spot. Then they have to move to another spot! There's rules no matter what!!

Bastion Jewellers. Love this sign - good for them!!
No rules here!!

 Downtown shopping area.

Little BC Ferry leaving for Gabriola Island...

A 72 ft. silboat. It is for young people to work on who are recovering from substance
abuse issues. Good for whoever came up with this program idea.....
Appropriately named too...
In comes another Harbour Air floatplane....

 Mr. Dungeness Crab...

Sculpture made entirely of recycled metal pieces....

Cool courthouse....

Nothing else happening! Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday!!
Cheers friends!!

  1. Hi! I have really enjoyed reading your blog. I was wondering if you feature guest postings. Thanks and have a great day!

    1. Thanks Sage!! We are glad to have you "on board". We don't do guest postings but sure hope you can keep on reading!!

  2. Hi Nancy,
You two have cornered the market on enjoying life. I just love reading about your daily life and activities. The Nanaimo pix are great and you capture the essence of a neat place for those of us who aren't lucky enough to have seen it ourselves.
Gus is growing up before our eyes - trying to stand, yikes time flies! I'll bet after your adventure next winter, he'll welcome you home with WORDS!
    Keep those posts coming!

    1. You are the amazing one, our friend!! Miss you!!
