Swimming Lessons!

Meet Gus....aka "The shark". If he is anything like his dad, he will always want to be the last out of the pool or lake, even if it means that he is shivering and fingers and lips are quivering and blue. We could NEVER get Josh out of the pool. He loved swimming.....let's see how his son does!!

So far, so good...Mom is in control of things!!

What the heck!!! Who said anything about face in the water???

The Shark....looking for his next victim, with a little help from Dad!!!

Okay Gus...just jump in....

No, really, I'll catch you...I will always be there for you, little buddy!!

Nope, Dad...I still gotta think about it for a minute....

Meanwhile, Grandma & Grandpa cheer from the bleachers...

Meanwhile, The Shark (...and his Dad) meet the other, less worthy, swimmers...

Okay, Here is The Shark...take a look and be VERY afraid!!!

Notice the clean, sleek lines of my shark cape.....

The Shark and his Mom and Dad!!!

I know, I am incorrigible!! Doug and I couldn't be happier than spending our 36th Wedding Anniversary watching our grandson in his first official swimming lesson. Some people may find that weird but we do not. Our family, Josh, Kathy & Gus and Teagan & Shawn (in Edmonton) are our highest priority.  We adore our family and would do anything for them.

We consider ourselves the luckiest people on earth.....

Happy Anniversary, my dear!!!

Life is good!!!

Cheers friends!!

  1. Happy Anniversary. Sounds like a great place to celebrate your anniversary and with some great company too. Looks like Gus took to the water like a "shark".
