Bucerias to Valle de Juarez & some birthdays, tomorrow!!

Well, double HAPPY BIRTHDAYS on Monday, May 6th!!!!

First, in order of age (....sorry Steph), to my brother Mark. A very Happy Birthday to you! Don't work too hard on Monday, huh?!!!

...and now, to our niece, Stephanie Nichols.
We hope you and all your friends have an amazing day tomorrow!!

Word of the Day: La Salida (la sal-ee-da)
                             Departure / Exit

Love these travel days and this one went great and seemed that we were back at Hacienda Contreras in no time flat. We really enjoyed our time at the beach for sure. The Royal Decameron was awesome and we will be going back next year, same time. Anyone want to come along??

Not much to tell you otherwise. We will talk later this week about our upcoming plans. We have moved up our departure date from VdJ so we will talk about that too. The town has their fiesta this upcoming week so we will get to catch lots of that celebration. We love this town and will miss it greatly when we leave!!

THE most important thing is a BEAUTIFUL picture of our grandson. I just don't know how many times I can say how much we miss him OR how gorgeous he is. I will let the picture speak for itself...

Ah, Sunday morning.....waffles, juice and Rogers Golden syrup (for the parents, of course!!) but Mr. Adorable looks like he is trying his best to get out of the chair and get to them!! (Oh, Josh added that he is also watching NASCAR too. Remember, it is Sunday morning!!) For those who do not know, Doug, Josh and I are all big NASCAR fans. Pretty sure Gus will learn too.....Kathy, well, she is STILL learning.....(I know, sad, isn't it?!)

Dinner is finished. Although I must admit, I was a bit appalled at the dinner service tonight. I mean, really, where was Juan, Lupe or Gabino to bring the food out to us, on the nice trays. Things are really slipping here!!! .....AND, where are the drinks??????

Cheers and g'night friends!!

  1. Aren't grandkids great - we can brag as much as we like. And, it's all true! What a beautiful baby boy, Gus - he'll be 21 in no time! Enjoy every photo and every chance to squeeze him and tell him how wonderful he is.

Hugs and welcome 'home' to Hacienda!

  2. Can't wait to see pictures of the Valle de Juarez fiesta! We so want to be there for that.

Wow, does Gus ever have a huge, happy smile!
