VdJ to San Miguel de Allende

Word of the Day: Viajar (Bee-ya-har)
                              Travel

...and travel we did, all the way to San Miguel de Allende. Upon first glance, it looks like a really nice town. Very artistic community in all ways. We can hardly wait to explore more. We will be here for a week so you will see lots of pictures.

Drive was uneventful and took us 5 hours (no stops).

Some very pretty countryside.....

Where there's a will, there's a way!!!

Now, here we are, San Miguel RV Park and Tennis Courts (also known as Weber RV Park) Very nice, small and quiet. Right in the heart of town. It will be nice to walk to things and nice to go at night too!!

We were greeted by Renate, Mary-Pat and Mike & Terri Church. Just like "old home week"!! We all went out for a great dinner and listened to some great music.

Central part of park. Nice and small. Only about 12 sites here....

Gates from the outside. Super quiet street....

Random architecture on the walk to the restaurant!

Nice little 4 piece band plays...

This little guy liked the music but kept putting his fingers in his ears...

The absolutely stunning parroquia, almost a cathedral....

Part of the square. Lots of people out and about.....

Well, it looks like an amazing town to explore. We (and you all) will see lots of it in the week to come!!

Too tired for tea - time for bed!!

Cheers friends!!
