Las Glorias to Mazatlan

We really had a nice sleep, listening to the waves pounding. I think, maybe, if there had been wifi available, we just might have stayed the extra day that we had originally planned. I wasn't disappointed to be heading for Mazatlan early. First though, some morning coffee by the beach...

Funny, through all the beautiful corn fields here, up looms what we can only think is a new prison. Seems to cut right at the heart of the area. Not sure what all the residents think.....likely they don't mind as it will supply lots of labour to build and lots of staff to run it.

The area really starts to change as you get within 100 kms or so of Mazatlan...But we were reminded of the hefty tolls this nice road requires. We went through 6 tool booths today and it cost a total of $380 pesos, which is approxmately $30 Cdn. We believe it was well worth it. We arrived in Mazatlan at about 2:30 pm. It was a great driving day!!

Euri feels like he is heading "home"., we have done this road before.
North Mazatlan looms in the distance...

We have arrived at San Fernando RV Park - where we stayed last trip...

Doug and I really like it here. Not even sure why. It is always clean and it is in a great part of town. We love the pool too!! We hope Al & Colleen like it as much as we do....

Last year, Euri was parked in the spot just to the left, where Al is now!!

We got all set up and then it was time for a dip in the pool....

I know, even I got in!!!

Now, relaxing time!!

Danna, notice the lovely tablecloth....

It is N-I-C-E to be here. We are looking forward to exploring a bit, walking on the beach (maybe we will find another big haul of sea glass, thanks to eagle-eyed Doug...) and taking one of the little pulmonias to the big international market!! Should be fun!!

Wanna come along??

Tea is finished and time for bed....

Cheers friends!!
