Valemount to Edmonton

We awoke to bright sun and frost on Wednesday morning, after another great breakfast at Dream Catcher Inn, it was off on the road again! (www.dreamcatcherinn.ca). Thanks again to Doreen!!

It was an absolutely glorious day for travel through the Rockies. First glimpse of this mountain beauty is Mt. Robson.

Moose Lake

...and the end of Moose Lake

Next was a drive through Jasper. Really a nice little town. It was just below freezing so we did not get out and walk around town. But, we did drive up towards Maligne Lake. The road takes you up through the snow line. It looked like Christmas up there. We never got as high as the lake, but we did stop at a nice viewpoint. Unfortunately, you cannot see the lake but it is still a nice view.

After this, it was off to Edmonton to the Colosseum Bed & Breakfast. It is a converted convent, complete with chapel. Approximately 15 rooms so not quite a bed and breakfast but still very interesting. The furniture and decorating is quite "old-world" charming. After we checked in we headed out to the High Level Diner for dinner.
