Icefield Parkway to Lake Louise (Part 1)

After a great visit in Edmonton, we left and headed for a cruise through the Icefield Parkway. If you have not done this drive, we highly recommend it! We did this route with our kids about 20 years ago and it is still fantastic! First stop was Athabasca Falls.

You can walk down many steps to the base of the falls. It puts you right at the river level. These steps were carved from the old river route. Super cool. Once at the river level, there are so many inukshuks built that you don't know where to look! I know they look HUGE, but I was just really close to them!!

Cheers!!
